Learn to paint furniture with Country Chic Paint!
In this *Bring Your Own Piece Workshop we will be going over prep, how to paint, buff, distress if you wish, and seal with Wax. All supplies included.
Kelly & Shannon are qualified instructors for Country Chic Paint and are so looking forward to sharing what they’ve learned with you we’ve hosted hundreds of women over the years in different workshops and enjoy using this paint in our own homes and at our shop!
Painting your furniture brings new life to your piece and your space, gives an older piece new life, is more affordable than buying new and we definitely call it our cheap therapy!
Please send us your colour ideas before arriving to save time and ensure we have your colour. Black and Red are too pigmented to use in class as they take longer to dry, so we won’t be choosing those colours.
*Pieces must be pre-approved by Instructors so please email a photo of your piece. Must be “carryable” by one person ie Chair, accent table, small shelf, Frame. No full dressers, drawers okay.
*Please wear “Painty” clothing or apron and bring warm layers as we will be doing some sections outside on covered deck. We’ll be on the porch so dress warm :)
No refunds but You can defer to a later class if you need to cancel for any reason or transfer to someone else with 24 hours notice. Message ASAP if you need to make changes and email islandish@shaw.ca to send us your photo of your piece and colour choices. We will send you a list of the colours when we receive your registration.
