Wooden Wick Care: Wooden Wicks take a few seconds longer to light be patient, make sure the first burn is at least an hr to allow the burn pool to reach edge to edge, this will avoid tunneling. Always trim the wick to 1/4" or 6mm before lighting. Removing the curled charred tips from the wick will expose fresh wood which will burn better. If the flame is too big or too little, extinguish the candle, trim the wick and relight. Wicks can be trimmed with scissors, nail clippers or just use your finger tips to break off the charred bits.

Candle Safety:The container may get hot while burning. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Only burn this candle on a level, heat resistant surface. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch to avoid excessive flame and smoke. Never move a hot candle or burn candle with container lid on. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch remains in container.
